I love to read. I also love to read Self-Help and cleaning type books. One of the books that I have read is Simply Clean by Becky Rapinchuk. In this book she lists out tips and tricks to getting things done in the most efficient way possible. While all of her tips may not be applicable to every person, I believe that everyone would benefit from what she shares. Also, I purchased the book and did not (& will not) receive any 'gifts' or payment for this review.

She has a system of cleaning that is simple, easy to follow and works like a charm. I have been using this system for the past year and I can tell you that this system works. I love the section layout in the books.

Part One is The Simply Cleaning Method: The Secret to Cleaning Less, Yet having a Cleaner Home.

Part Two is The 7-Day Simply Clean Kick Start: 10 minutes to a Happier, Healthier Home.

Part Three is: The 28-day Simply Clean Challenge: Turn the Method into a Habit.

Part Four is Customizing the Simply Clean Method for life.

Part Five is How to Clean and Organize (Just About) Anything.

Part Six is: Cleaning Supplies and Resources.
The final section covers not only her tools of preference but the cleaning supplies - homemade AND store bought that she has found great success with.


I found this book to be easy to read and easy to follow. I also found it quite simple to implement in my own home. Having recently moved prior to purchasing this book, we had already decluttered. This made following the book so much easier. It reads like a narrative but is full of tips and things that she has learned as she has mastered cleaning her own home for her family. She doesn't patronize or talk down to her reader. Her words are engaging and make for a nice read.


If you are looking for a way to have your home be company ready EVERY DAY with a cleaning schedule of minutes a day, then I positively recommend this book. No matter how large or small your living spaces are, you can benefit from this book.
