Lucy

Lucy
Lucy is set up by her boyfriend, Richard, to take part in a drug deal in Taiwan. A simple briefcase drop- off to Mr. Jang soon becomes much more when Lucy finds herself, along with three others, as a drug mule for the highly potent street drug CPH4. While being held, Lucy is kicked in the stomach, tearing the bag and sending the CPH4 inside spreading through her system. The toxic amount results in increased brain function, with expanded physical and mental capabilities. As her brain capacity increases, so does her desire to take out the people who responsible. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Lucy”.

· Jang and his cronies bring in the drug addict to taste the contents of the briefcase. They put a red straw in his hands. The straw is straight and it’s still that way when the addict looks at it before he snorts the drug. In the wider view, when they smack him on the head, the straw is bent.

· Lucy is walking through the Taiwan airport and makes a call to the police station in Paris. The man in the background, behind the desk, is drinking from the cup in his right hand and holding a sandwich in his left one. He starts to laugh, drops the sandwich on the desk and starts to wipe his mouth. It cuts to a closer view as the phone starts to ring and the sandwich is back in his left hand. It’s gone again when Pierre Del Rio answers the phone.

· Lucy and Del Rio are in the police vehicle. She changes the station on the radio and they can hear Jang talking to one of his men on the cell phone. Jang is walking through the airport at the time. A rear view of him shows he’s holding his cell phone in his bandaged left hand, up to his ear. His gold watch is on his wrist. It cuts to a front view and the watch isn’t there.

· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Jang has gotten into the room where Lucy is with Professor Norman and the others. A close-up, right side view of Lucy shows her arm is black, up to her shoulders. It cuts to a rear view of her with Jang pointing the gun and only her arm, up to her elbow is black. A couple moments later, it cuts to a close-up front view, and the color is rising to her neck.
