The Addams are back with a new addition, with Morticia’s and Gomez’s newborn baby, Pubert, and a new love interest for Uncle Fester, in the form of the children’s new nannie, Debbie. Debbie may have more than the children’s best interest at heart, when Wednesday and Pugsley get sent away to summer camp, leaving her free to pry Fester away from the rest of the family. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Addams Family Values”.

· Wednesday and Pugsley are “playing” with baby Pubert. Wednesday reads from a scroll and wraps it back up. In the side view, Wednesday says, “Hoorah, justice is served” and she’s holding the rolled up scroll in front of her. The scene cuts to a close-up, front view when Wednesday says, “bring in the evil one”, and proceeds to roll up the scroll again.

· Wednesday and Pugsley have been sent to summer camp. Becky, one of the camp counselors, insists on a group hug. In the wider view, Becky walks over and says, “they’re just shy”. She places her arm around Wednesday, with her hand on Wednesday’s right shoulder. It cuts to a closer view when Pugsley says, “we’re not shy”, and Becky’s arm is outstretched, with her hand on Wednesday’s left shoulder. The scene cuts back to the original view when Wednesday mentions, “we’re contagious”, and Becky’s arm is wrapped around her again with her hand on her right shoulder.

· The family tries to visit Fester at Debbie’s mansion. The close-up view of Grandmama while she’s putting the curse on Debbie, shows she’s holding the skull by the bottom and it’s facing forward, toward Debbie. As she’s giving the skull to her, Grandmama is now holding the skull by the eye sockets and it’s facing away from Debbie.

· Debbie leaves a bomb in a present at the house. She’s outside in her car waiting for the explosion. A view of the car shows the driver’s window is up when the house explodes. She gets out of the car and the outer view shows the driver’s window is down.

“Addams Family Values” (1993) stars Raul Julia, Anjelica Houston, Christopher Lloyd, Joan Cusack, Christina Ricci, Jimmy Workman, Carol Kane, Peter MacNicol, Christine Baranski, Carel Struycken and David Krumholtz. It runs 94 minutes and is rated PG-13 for macabre humor.
